据悉，在新年的前夕，曼联球员的家人们在卡灵顿基地观看了一场公开的训练，并在训练基地享用了餐食。就在公开训练的前一天晚上，曼联在主场被纽卡击败，这是他们遭遇的第四场连败。在事后看来，这确实是一种缓解俱乐部低迷时期消极情绪的一种方式。

球员的家人以前也受邀来到过卡灵顿基地。在滕哈赫执教时，万圣节和圣诞节球队都会举行活动。自新年前夕的这次活动以来，曼联的队内的气氛确实有了改观，随着时间的推移，也许阿莫林可以在曼联取得成功。
