滕哈赫说道：“在足球比赛中，并不总是表现最好的那支球队获胜。今天很明显并且很清楚（那不是点球），VAR并不应该起到这样的作用。”
“在赛季开始前，他们解释了这个过程，只有出现明显误判时，他们才会进行干预。我不是在批评任何人，我批评的是这个过程，但当然，是有人在操作VAR。”
“另一个影响是我们无法取得进球，我们创造了很多机会。上半场球队的表现正是我希望看到的那样。我们应该进球，但总的来说，我对球队没有那么多需要批评的地方。”
当被问及输球后俱乐部的情绪时，滕哈赫回答道：“五味杂陈。我们经常会做的事情就是照照镜子看看自己做错了什么。今天，我唯一要批评球员的地方就是浪费机会。裁判的判罚对比分有很大影响。”
